3rd Annual

Farm 2 Families Giving Gallop

Giving every step of the way

December 14, 2024  - Start @ 11:00 - Robbins Farm Park, Arlington, MA

We are back at it and Looking to Make Year 3 even better than the first two!

The Giving Gallop is your favorite holiday run / walk Charity Event.  The gallop is a mostly flat, casual ~7 to 9 Mile run / walk around arlington, with social stops along the way to raise money for pediatric cancer research and care at MGH!  To encourage and accommodate participants of all levels of fitness and capabilities to join the event, the giving gallops has various course options for runners (longer distance) and walkers (shorter distance) alike.

But, the Giving Gallop is not your typical Holiday running event.  Ok Sure, the gallop has some of the hallmarks of a traditional holiday season run:

However, what makes the giving gallop awesome is that it's, well, all about giving!! The Gallop is designed to give to families in 3 major ways:

1st Part of Giving

Raise $$$ 4 Pediatric Cancer Research

This run is dedicated to raising funds for MGH's Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fund.  This fund provides direct support for pediatric cancer research and clinical care for pediatric cancer patients.  Over the last two years, we've raised $17,290!!!  Our 2024 Goal is to raise $17,000 this year alone!!! It's the time of the year to be merry and give all you can to support!  What are you waiting for?!!!!  Donate NOW BY CLICKING THE BUTTON BELOW.

2nd Part of Giving

give gifts to people we meet on the Run

There is nothing better than doing good, giving back, and bringing cheer to people this time of year.  Instead of the usual Registration fee, your "fee" is purchasing, wrapping, and bringing at least $25 worth of gift cards to hand out to those we encounter on our run.  While $25 is the minimum to join us, we highly encourage you to bring as many gift cards as possible.  This is your chance to officially be santa!

3rd Part of Giving

Give 2 the food insecure

Food insecurity continues to be a challenge that impacts many in the Arlington community.  In fact, Arlington EATS distributes over 15,000 pounds of food to 450 households each week.  To help support our Friends at Arlington Eats and provide additional food and materials to those in need, we are kindly asking all participants to bring any non-perishable foods to the start.

Please do not donate: soda, sports drinks, medications, bed pads, adult incontinence products, expired items, jumbo or single serving sizes

If you're feeling extra generous (and we encourage you to do so, its the giving season after all!), you can click the button above and donate money directly to Arlington Eats!   When donating money to Eats, Include a reference to Farm2Families in the comments!!
